About Cura
Cura is the portfolio management platform for early-stage VCs, built for faster fundraises, painless audits, polished LP reports, and real support for your founders.
What Cura does
Cura keeps every portfolio company up to date. It reads your email, calls, and files. It asks founders only for what's missing. Every number links to its source.
Finance, investor relations, and platform teams work from the same record, so every report and answer comes with its source.
Audit and finance
- Audit responses. Forward the auditor’s request to Cura. It replies in the thread with the answer and links to the supporting documents.
- Paper trails for every figure. Every financial figure and KPI links back to the document it came from.
- Normalized portfolio financials. Point-in-time and period metrics line up, and every currency is converted, so companies compare cleanly.
LP and investor relations
- Automated LP reports. Quarterly reports in your fund’s brand, built from the record with every number sourced.
- Fundraising collateral. Track record and narrative across every fund, ready for the next raise.
- Responses to LP questions. A reply you can send to any LP question, with a link to its source.
Platform and portfolio support
- A portfolio jobs board. A public jobs page in your brand, with every open role tracked daily.
- Value-add reports. Every intro you make, traced to the deals it led to, so you can show the platform team’s ROI.
- Founder asks, tracked. Every ask in a founder’s email becomes a task for your team, so none slip.
What makes Cura different
Every number links to its source
Each figure and KPI links back to the email, call, or file it came from. Partners, LPs, and auditors can check any number against its source.
Founders only hear about the gaps
Standard Metrics asks founders for the same numbers every quarter. Cura first reads what each founder already sent, then asks only for what's missing, from your own inbox.
One record for every team
Partners, finance, investor relations, and platform work from the same company record. Nobody keeps a side spreadsheet, and every report starts from the same numbers.
A full record from the start
Cura backfills your history when you connect your tools, so you begin with every company already filled in.
Founder-led support
You work directly with the people building the product, and your requests shape the roadmap.
Flexible terms
Month-to-month or annual. Cura publishes its pricing, and tells you your exact price on the first call.

The team behind Cura
Cura started in June 2025. Firms don’t fall behind on their portfolio for lack of data. They fall behind because it lands late, in twenty places, with no one free to piece it together. That’s what Cura is for. The team is small, bootstrapped, and answers to customers, not a board.
Sharan Jhangiani
Co-founder
Before Cura, Sharan was Chief of Staff and then Head of Agents at Yoodli, the AI communication coach. Sharan also writes Investor Day, a newsletter about emerging founders.
Adam Towers
Co-founder
Before Cura, Adam was a founding software engineer at Clarify, the AI-native CRM, and ran its AI team. Adam studied computer science at the University of Washington.
Andrew Gies
Co-founder
Before Cura, Andrew was a software engineering manager at Productiv, the SaaS management platform. Andrew studied computer science and theatrical design at the University of Washington.
How Cura works
01. Connect your tools
Connect your email, Granola, and the rest of your tools. Cura backfills your history, then keeps every company current on its own.
02. Cura asks for the gaps
Cura checks what each founder already sent, then asks for the gaps and nothing else. The request goes out from your own inbox, with you in control.
03. One record per company
Every partner, every inbox, every source, in one place. Each update becomes one clean company record, and each number links back to where it came from.

Frequently asked questions
What does Cura do?
Cura keeps every portfolio company up to date. It reads your email, calls, and files, asks founders only for what's missing, and links every number to its source. Finance, investor relations, and platform teams then build audit responses, LP reports, and jobs boards from that record.
How is Cura different from Standard Metrics?
Standard Metrics asks founders for the same numbers every quarter. Cura reads what founders already sent you, then asks only for the gaps, from your own inbox. It also watches public signals, like hiring and press, between updates.
Do founders need to do anything?
Only fill the gaps. Cura reads their updates, decks, and calls first, and asks for a number only when it can't find one. The request comes from your inbox, so founders reply the way they always do.
Where does each number come from?
Every figure and KPI links back to the email, call, or file it came from. You can check any number in Cura against its source before it goes into a report.
How does Cura help with audits?
Forward the auditor's request to Cura. It replies in the thread with the answer and links to the supporting documents, and your team checks the reply before it goes to the auditor.
Does Cura work across multiple funds?
Yes. One workspace holds the companies from every fund, and a Fund Name field on each company lets you filter by fund. Fundraising collateral covers the track record across every fund.
How long does setup take?
Connect your email, Granola, and the rest of your tools, and Cura backfills each company's history. Exceptional Capital went from kickoff to first value in 48 hours.
How does Cura handle our data?
Your data stays yours. Cura never shares it across firms, sells it, or uses it to train models for other customers.
Is Cura venture-backed?
No. Cura is bootstrapped, and the team answers to customers, not a board.
